Grandma`s Homestead Restaurant in Cascade

Super yummy! I had Benny's Biscuit Bowl at the recommendation of the waitress, so good!!! Definite do over. Super friendly. They were really busy as there was a snow storm and the road just south was closed for a couple of hours. Great people, great food!

We ordered the rib steak dinners to take back to our room and the waitress made sure we had every single thing we might need to make the meal awesome and we ordered it from the lake 15 minutes before closing! And the food was fabulous. Will do it again! Ps. Have eaten there many times over the years and everything is delicious😊

Food good. They took a long time to get our food. I would say they were busy. When the food got to us it was really good.

This is an awesome place, perfect small town diner. They do breakfast all day which is a hit for me. The place was warm and cozy. The staff were awesome and they even had some toys for kids to play with making this a very family friendly place!

Lunch was great so we went back the next day for breakfast. What a difference a day makes. We had to ask for the ice tea my hubby ordered and the syrup for the pancakes. We were a bit disappointed the food was good though. We highly recommend the seafood chowder.

The food is home cooked and great portions. See I can't say enough about the staff and owner. A family member was I'll and passed out. They jumped in and helped like we were their family. They called the ambulance for us and the owner even came to the hospital to check on us all. We will no go anywhere else from now on. Thank you!

Best breakfast in Cascade! Nothing crazy but good old fashioned American grub that will stick to your ribs.One can not go away hungry here.

Came down from elk camp and had steak and eggs... The sirloin was a plump beautifully cooked steak....If your going through Cascade anytime of the day, Gramma's is the place to eat....

I've been going here for years now. It's not as good as it used to be. I don't know if it's a new cook or different food supplier, just isn't the same. Don't bother asking for extra crispy hash browns, they are incapable of doing it (last time sent it back twice to still have undercooked hash browns, this time didn't bother with sending it back). Best part of breakfast was the biscuit they heated up in the microwave.

I Love their chili dog and onion rings. The best chili dog I have ever eaten! The hubby and I love eating at Grandmas. Very homey food and atmosphere.

This is my favorite place to come into town to have breakfast. Classic breakfast time food. Service has always been nice and friendly. Even with a larger group they were able to sit us all together. Will be back when I make another trip up this winter.

I go here all the time when traveling. It is currently open, but they prefer if you wore a mask. It is optional, and of course you have to take it off when eating.

Great local cafe with a delicious breakfast. Cooked my eggs perfectly. Sausage was nice and savory. Biscuits were amazing. Charming small town feel. The stag was very welcoming. This was a great start to my day.

Third time i've been to this place in the last 5 years... have tried it out of convenience... second time i've had to walk out.. horrible service... the one time i had no other option and actually waited over an hour for the food and service and it was mediocre at best.. i would compare it to a low budget dennys.. i get that you're stuck in a small town and are forced to eat at the only 4 restaurants it has to offer.. but going to this place and wasting your money should be a crime... 4 stars?! no way!! stay far far away! you'll thank me later!

All I had was the sausage and gravy. There was definitely a lot of it too much it tasted like Hotel gravy and no sausage absolute terrible like Elmer's Glue, the biscuit Superdry terrible.. I will not be going back

Slow to get food and never got my mayo I asked for. We constantly had to find someone for refills, cook needs a lesson on how not to over cook burgers. They where completely brown all the way through no juice what's so ever making it very dry going down. I'm not that picky of a person but it just kept racking up.

The food here is ok. Just your basic cafe. I had a sausage mushroom omelette, and the "Swiss cheese" was American type Swiss . The mushrooms were cooked perfectly, however. The toast is just cheapola bread, but that's pretty normal I guess.

Good food, and good service especially considering how busy it was when we arrived. The best sausage patties I have ever had, and the French Toast was very good too. Now my son's favorite restaurant!

Heard that the servers had stopped wearing masks. I called and ask if this was true and they said they wear them sometimes. Well these days sometimes doesn’t cut it. Until the servers wear masks full time I will not be going near that place.

Burger was super dry and my chicken sandwich had more ham than chicken. The fries and salad bar were mediocre. Best thing was the milkshakes! All together it was better than a drive through and having my kids eat in my car while sitting in traffic but not so good that if I had another option I would choose Gramma's first.
